    Yes, menstrual cup is a safe product.

    It is safe to use the cup with an UID. But it is important that you know how to use the menstrual cup correctly. You can use a menstrual cup if you have an UID. Still, studies suggest that women who used a menstrual cup had a higher rate of UID dislodgement than women who used tampons or pads. Although this is a personal choice, we recommend that you talk to your doctor first. Let's say you want to use the cup and you have an UID inserted. In that case, we recommend waiting three months after the UID insertion (to allow it to settle). It is also a good idea to cut the threads. Always be sure to break the suction completely before you start removing the cup.

    After using tampons for years, I decided to finally give menstrual cups a go. I tried another brand of menstrual cup and loved the benefits but could only manage to insert it correctly about 50% of the time, and almost never with great comfort. I decided to give biocup a try instead and will never look back!! It is so smooth, easy and painless to use. Would only ever recommend this brand to anyone thinking of trying a menstrual cup! (and the fact that you can choose it in your favourite colour is a lovely bonus :D )

    I am a very happy user of a BIOcup for the last 3 years. It's now safe to say that bio cup has been one of my best decisions. It's the best investment I've ever made. It fits perfectly, I have never experienced leakage and since the very first time it has been love at first sight. I forget that it's in, I only need to empty it twice a day, once when I wake up and once before going to bed. I can do literally anything I want, dance, work out, swim, be out all day without a care in the world. I had been afraid and thought about it for months before I finally bought it and I am so glad I did. This feeling of freedom during my period is the best. I even had a Brazilian laser hair removal session on my period with no problems at all. I love how I can do literally anything, I will never need anything more than that, I create no waste whatsoever and the cost of it has paid off in the first 7 months (yep, I did the math). I could go on and on but bottom line is: I love it. Will never go back. Take the leap, it's totally worth it.

    Have been using my cup for a few years now and it has made the experience of having a period so much easier. Have never had any problems with leakage and can leave it in for a long time, makes me feel like i'm not even on my period. I just make sure that I empty it before bed and as soon as I wake up, doing this in the shower also helps. Would recommend Precious Stars Vlogs on youtube to learn how to use them best. The donation side and the mission of BIO cup is just amazing and I'm so happy to have supported that, such a great solution to a terrible problem. Not to mention all the waste that is saved! The BIO clean is great to have but I always put it in a bowl as well in the microwave as it usually overflows. Couldn't recommend enough.
